Kurre Schneps LLP is pleased to announce that Marcus O’Toole-Gelo, Esq. has been promoted from Senior Counsel to Partner. Marcus concentrates his practice in trusts and estates and elder law, including estate planning, asset protection, Medicaid, estate tax planning, and trust and estate administration. In 2021, Marcus was a recipient of the Long Island Business News’ Leadership in Law award, which recognizes those individuals whose leadership, both in the legal profession and in the community, has had a positive impact on Long Island. He has authored numerous legal and scholarly articles and has made media appearances to educate the public on estate planning essentials, elder law, and protecting seniors from financial abuse. After earning a bachelor’s degree in 2006 from the University of California San Diego, Marcus earned his law degree in 2009 from St. John’s University School of Law.
